Health issues can play a part but, more often than not, it comes down to our lifestyles.

Make Sleep a Priority
It’s no secret that we are a nation of sleep-deprived individuals. Between our busy lives, inconsistent work schedules, kids, and stress, it is estimated that about 30% of the population doesn’t regularly get the recommended 8 to 10 hours of sleep each night, which results in chronic exhaustion.
We all know that exercise is good for us, but a study out of the University of Georgia has found that engaging in regular, low-intensity exercise can actually reduce fatigue by 65%. According to researcher Tim Puetz, lead researcher of the study, “Too often we believe that a quick workout will leave us worn out- especially when we are already feeling fatigued. However, we have shown that regular exercise can actually go a long way in increasing feelings of energy, particularly in sedentary individuals.”
Choose the Right Supplements
There are several vitamins that can help to increase our energy levels.
CoQ10, which is made naturally in the body, is one of them, but levels can decline so a supplement can help.
Iron is another vital vitamin. It transports oxygen to the body through red blood cells, but an iron deficiency can have us feeling tired and worn out.
B12 is also an essential vitamin that we get from eating fish, meat, and dairy products. Since we get it from food, some of us may feel tired because we’re not getting enough. Taking a supplement can help.
Dehydration is one of the most common reasons we feel burnt out. We just don’t seem to make drinking water a priority, and more often than not, our low energy is due to being dehydrated. Although you may want to reach for a cup of coffee or an energy drink during that afternoon slump, choose a tall glass of water and a walk instead. You’ll feel better and may find that you can boost your energy naturally and easily.
