Doctor’s Best Introduces Gluten Rescue with Glutalytic™

Giving consumers science-based nutrition solutions for healthy digestion

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. – August  10, 2015 – Doctor’s Best is introducing Gluten Rescue with Glutalytic® to its dietary supplement line.   When taken before a meal, Gluten Rescue supports healthy digestion of gluten protein and helps promote proper immune response to gluten protein*.  The new product will be available for sale in October, 2015.

“With so many people suffering from gluten maldigestion and intolerance, we are pleased to add this supplement to our line of science-based nutrition products,” stated Gale Bensussen, CEO, Doctor’s Best.  “Gluten Rescue can help alleviate the discomfort associated with the digestion of foods containing wheat, barley and rye grains.”

Gluten is an elastic protein that is found most commonly in wheat and other related grains, such as barley and rye.  It actually consists of several different proteins (two being gliadin and glutenin) that are extremely difficult to digest for some people.  Undigested gluten proteins trigger the immune system to attack the inner lining of the small intestine, resulting in varying levels of gluten sensitivity.  Breaking down these proteins can help alleviate the symptoms associated with gluten sensitivity and prevent further damage to the body.

Gluten Rescue with Glutalytic®, a Non-GMO and Gluten Free supplement, supports healthy digestion of gluten protein*.  While most products that aid in the digestion of gluten only use a singular enzymatic approach, Glutalytic™ is uniquely designed to break down gluten proteins faster and more efficiently by attacking the peptide bonds in two ways, both internally and externally.

Preliminary studies show that Glutalytic® is effective in reducing the frequency and severity of the symptoms associated with gluten sensitivity.  Overall the dietary supplement reduces many of the symptoms believed to be caused by gluten sensitivity including:  pain in the abdominal area, rumbling of the tummy, feeling bloated, trouble emptying bowels, hunger pains, low energy levels, headaches and food cravings.

San Clemente-based Doctor’s Best, Inc., manufactures and distributes dietary supplements.  Doctor’s Best is know for a broad line of premium products that are scientifically based on sound research and manufactured utilizing proven quality ingredients.
