There was a five-year follow-up that found results that were significant among those participants that received CoQ10 and Selenium, showing a reduction in cardiovascular events by fifty percent.
Even ten years later, after CoQ10 and Selenium were discontinued, researchers found that participants that included both men and women, had spent less time in the hospital and had a better quality of life.
The surprise was that all those years later, they still enjoyed the life-saving benefits with a 49% lower cardiovascular mortality risk.
